Driftwood Lodge is yet the only Guesthouse on the wild beauty northern island of Caye Caulker, surrounded by indigenous mangrove forest, the Punta Arena Beach & Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea with its vast array of marine life.

Our Accomodations are designed to be your private livingspace and a place to take in the fabulous views. Wether you prefer a cozy nest as your livingspace or the aerie view over the treetops, your room is suited to the natural surroundings like the sun, rain and the caribbean seasons. We combine local knowledge with modern technology in design, construction and facilities in order to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable.

Currently, Driftwood Lodge hosts three exclusive Accomodations:

Each room has a spacious private porch, king size bed, bathroom with shower.

Driftwood features an independent, ecological water- and energy system. We use rainwater for bathrooms and showers as well as solar energy for electrical power supply (110V, american plugs).

The buildings are designed to catch the quite steady and pleasing seabreeze through the big windows and doors. If that's not cool enough, just switch on the big fan. If you don't like it hot at all, we recommend the cooler months from October until June.
