Driftwood's chef de la cuisine is Günter Mathieu.
He cooked in several "Guide Michelin" star-rated restaurants
in Switzerland and Germany, and sailed around the world as chefpatissier
and chef de cuisine for major cruise lines. He likes fish and
fine pastries.
The restaurant is on the top floor with a spectacular view over
the ocean on the west and over Belize's great barrier reef on
the other side of the lagoon.
